Traditional vine handled koryu scissors are used for cutting flowers for floral arrangements. The sharp angel of the blade allows the blade to cut without crushing the fibers of the cross section so it absorbs water better. You can also use these scissors to harvest cucumbers, eggplants, tomatoes and other vegetables. The ring on each handle is known as the vine hand has a large smooth curve that makes it easy to hold the scissors firmly.
