Davallia trichomanoides is known as the “Black Rabbit’s Foot Fern” for the hairy rhizomes that resemble fuzzy rabbit’s feet emerging from the soil surface. In a container these rhizomes will eventually begin to hang over the pot as they grow longer. This fern will thrive in bright shade, but too much sun will damage the foliage.

Shade to partial shade, temp. 50 to 90 degrees. Keep fairly moist.
