Silene caroliniana Catchfly

Abundant rosy pink flowers, resembling phlox, bloom in spring on slender sticky stems above mounding foliage with narrow green leaves. They attract hummingbirds, butterflies, bees, and moths. Excellent native substitute for Dianthus.
