Water:
Maintain consistently moist soil for Stylochaeton zenkeri, allowing the top layer to dry slightly between waterings. Overwatering can lead to root rot; therefore, ensure the pot has adequate drainage to prevent waterlogging.

Provide partial to full shade to mimic the plant’s natural understorey habitat. Direct sunlight can scorch the leaves, while insufficient light may hinder growth. A location away from direct sunlight is ideal.

Humidity:
Stylochaeton zenkeri prefers high humidity levels, ideally above 70%. In the UK, indoor environments often have lower humidity, especially during winter months.
