Easy to grow single stem sunflower with strong stems and large 10-15cm (4-6) pollenless blooms. Procut Plum has more muted colours than most sunflowers with its plum to cream petals and medium brown center. 120-180cm (4-6) plants. Loved by professional cut flower growers.

Direct sowrepeatedly after the last frost date. Starting indoors is possible, but does not gain much time. If sunflowers are allowed to get root-bound, they will lack stability at transplant time, and will require staking. Optimal soil temperature for germination:21-30C (70-85F). Seeds should sprout in 10-14 days.
